Their wedding day started with me filming the first moment they saw each other before their ceremony. We filmed the first look in the hotel lobby on the Gold Coast. I helped them re-enact the first time they met.
After an elegant ceremony at Sol Gardens, the couple and their guests celebrated under a cozy teepee on what may have been a chilling June night – but that didn’t stop them from partying until the wee morning hours!

Phil was the ultimate professional from the moment we first made contact with him. Because the wedding was in October 2020 and COVID had interrupted our wedding planning, we booked Phil relatively late and he was more than accommodating. He took the time to meet with us at his studio before the wedding and was friendly, patient and understanding throughout our discussions. He showed genuine interest in our wedding planning and what we were aiming to achieve, and he was more than happy to collaborate with us and provide ideas and suggestions. Communication was excellent – he would periodically email helpful guides and tips, and kept us in the loop every step of the way.
Moreover, it was a genuine pleasure to have Phil with us on the big day – he put us at complete ease and somehow managed to be discreet while still capturing all of our precious moments on film! Even with a busy schedule, Phil managed to get our teaser and highlight films to us in a timely fashion and we were delighted with the result. His editing absolutely nailed the brief. The ceremony and reception films were also edited and it was joy to be able to relive the day through them. For a couple who were originally questioning whether to even have a videographer, we are so glad we decided to go ahead and that we found Phil – highly recommended in all regards!

On a beautiful day, Caitlyn’s house served as the backdrop for an unforgettable occasion. Inez and Caitlyn’s were ready to make their union official – but not before they shared in a special first look beneath her home! Later that same day, Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens provided even more incredible moments of celebration for this joyous couple. It was an unforgettable day full of love and joy! Two wonderful people came together, surrounded by beautiful family and friends. Capturing the celebration on film was a privilege, ensuring they could cherish these special moments forever
Gay friendly Wedding Videographer
I would love to film more Gay & Lesbian Weddings. As a videography company I am all about equality. I believe everyone should have the right to get married, so I am so excited for Australia and its people who finally became equal in a nutshell.. LOVE IS LOVE!
I actually don’t shoot gay and lesbian couples any differently than other wedding. The camera just makes me more aware of their happiness which I’m glad to document for future generations!
