The Teaser Trailer

WHAT IS A WEDDING TEASER TRAILER?

A wedding teaser trailer is a short video that captures the highlights of a couple’s wedding day. It is typically created by a professional videographer or cinematographer, providing a brief glimpse into the couple’s special day.

Wedding teaser trailers are usually around one to three minutes long. They capture the most critical moments of the wedding day. It may include shots of the bride and groom getting ready, the ceremony, the reception, and any other special events during the day.

A wedding teaser traier aims to give the couple, and their family and friends a sneak peek into the final wedding video. It is often shared on social media platforms or shown at the wedding reception, and it can be a great way to relive the memories of the special day.

Teaser trailers are a great way to give a snippet of what is to come from the wedding day. A few clips or images, along with an engaging story telling aspect, can help transport viewers back in time and give them a glimpse of just how unique the wedding was.

Creating a wedding teaser trailer

Teaser trailers are a great way to give a snippet of what is to come from the wedding day. A few clips or images and an exciting storytelling aspect can help transport viewers back in time and give them a glimpse of how unique the wedding was.

How Red Door Studios create a teaser trailer for any special event that centres around creating a story. I’ll highlight the most critical moments of the day in my trailer – preparation, ceremony, photoshoot, or dancing – and accompany it with handpicked music. Don’t just mix clips – focus on building towards the big picture! Our teaser trailers are more than just watching edited clips; they tell an underlining story that will keep viewers coming back for more.

Dont give away too much?

When creating a teaser trailer, the footage must only provide little information. While many videographers may be inclined to show off one to two minutes of a wedding event, this firmly defeats the objective of the teaser trailer. By design, the teaser trailer is just that – a teaser – so only snippets of the special celebration should be included.

I don’t give them any time frame when I create teaser trailers for couples. Instead, the teasers are spread out over time to give the couples something to anticipate as I work on their films. It ensures they will have memories to revisit and enjoy throughout the entire production of the videos.

Little wedding moments

Little wedding moments are video snippets that capture a small moment I want to focus on. These videos are typically shorter than teaser trailers and range from 10 seconds to 20 seconds in length. They can be represented with a single clip and are great for promoting and posting on social media. As these short-form videos are immensely popular, they make excellent reels or quick clips for multiple channels.

These small moments help couples to appreciate the day even more as they look back fondly at them. Couples can get up to four highlight videos featuring the beautiful little moments of their celebration captured on camera.

Photographers have an advantage because they can share their images with ease. In contrast, making videos requires more effort and time. However, creating short content can be accomplished quickly and easily by videographers
