Spicers Cloverly Estate Montville

Spicers Clovelly is a French-inspired guesthouse up in the hills of the hinterland. Surrounded by jacarandas, magnolias, gardenias and fig tree. It’s the perfect venue for an autumn wedding when all the beautiful colours come out. The hotel is located on a rise just down the road from the busy main village of Montville, so it’s not far from accommodation. The staff are always excellent from my experience and everything can be done onsite. So if you’re looking for a stress-free venue for an intimate wedding, this is it.

Every wedding I have filmed at Spicers Clovelly has always been amazing. No Matter if its been wind rain or shine. It just one on the those place that I love shooting at. The avenue of tress is just stunning when you drive in is always a favourite for every couple that comes here.

ON this day Spicers Cloverly Montville was wet, very wet!

Some brides may have through this would have been a disaster but Kristin had faith in all of us weather experts checking BOM every 5 minutes, that it would stop for the ceremony. 20 minutes before it was supposed to start the rain cleared and there was a flurry of staff who managed to slot in the ceremony on the lawn.

With all the rain around and being in Montville the mist came in creating a real air of mystery, which really added to the films I created for them.

But most couples look to go to Spicers during the Autumn when the leaves start to fall, and you get those lovely autumnal colours. The avenue of trees is always a delight to film.
