Friendly wedding vendorsNikita Bell Marriage Celebrant

Nikita Bell: Dog Lover. Coffee Drinker. Mum. Wife. Unnecessary Pie-Chart Maker. Marriage Celebrant.

Nikita and her husband, Owen, eloped in New Zealand in 2017, and although eloping was what they had both always wanted, Nikita was a bit nervous that on the day, it would feel lonely or flat without their friends and family. Luckily, she had a fantastic celebrant (Laura Giddey!) – who felt like a long-lost friend and wrote an incredible ceremony that had both Nikita and Owen feeling warm and fuzzy, despite being on top of a cold mountain. Nikita fell in love with the idea of a job that made people feel special on one of the most memorable days of their lives.

Nikita started her career as a celebrant in 2021 and now spends most of her weekends marrying couples across Brisbane and its surrounds. She is a proud ally who offers inclusive ceremonies for couples from all backgrounds.

She knows that finding a celebrant with the same vision, sense of humour, and vibe as you both can make your ceremony memorable for all the right reasons rather than just the “boring part before the party.” Her ceremonies are light, relaxed, and personal – with laughter, tears and cheers!

Vows are her favourite part of the ceremony, closely followed by the few minutes before the processional starts when the Partner who is waiting nervously paces around with anticipation and excitement.

Marrying couples isn’t her career – it’s her passion. Instead, Nikita would build great relationships with the people she has the honour of marrying rather than be pumping out multiple generic ceremonies every weekend.

Be warned; however, she will get down on her knees and cuddle your dog, and she is known to sing “Excavator” by Blippi to make your kids smile for a photo.
