BrisbaneJess & Jack – A Star Trek (not cheesy) inspired wedding video

The couple, Jess and Jack, wanted to have a fun wedding video. They had an understated Star Trek theme on their big day- from the colours they chose (a mix of blue, reds and yellows) and the star trek emblem throughout their wedding colour palette.

Their only brief to me was to make a fun wedding video that incorporated visuals and sound from the Star Trek universe. They walk back up the aisle after they are married. It was the theme from Star Trek Enterprise.

But of course, having a themed wedding, especially one from a TV series, we don’t want to go over the top and make it cheesy, so I’ve created a video with just a hint of Star Trek exactly like their wedding day. Jess enough so everyone knows it’s a Star Trek-themed wedding, and of course, Jason Jack is delighted with the results, leaving me a fantastic roller, as you can see below.\

About Lisa & Elm

The year was 1998. The month was October. The date was the 31st. The day was Saturday. The meal was pizza. The location was Todd’s house. The bean bag was a tanned kinda brown. That was the very beginning of our love story. The day we first met. As you know, we were each other first love when we were 15 and 16 years old. We loved hard, and it was real, yet the distance between us from Bundaberg to Gladstone.

The trials and tribulations that came with being a teenager in the late ’90s brought us apart. You know, cos life was SO difficult back then, haha. After that time, we took very different paths for each of us to grow up and find ourselves as individuals.

These paths have been long, windy and full of ups, downs and everything in between. Those paths, however, made us who we are today, and whilst the universe had us waiting 21 years to find our way back to one another, we are both forever grateful for the lessons time apart has provided us. Without all that we have achieved and all that we have endured, we would not have the kind of love or the life we have the opportunity to have together now.

So for that reason alone, we wouldn’t change a thing. Now, in the middle of a global pandemic… we find ourselves with a home in Emerald and living almost four times the original distance between us. We also have a stack of other conflicting responsibilities and life barriers against us, and yet we continue to choose each other.

We knew early on after reconnecting that we were destined for forever love with one another. And so, we invite you to share in our very special day, one that has been intricately designed by us for us.

Each of you was there from the very beginning of our love story, so it’s only fitting you are by our side to celebrate the beginning of our new chapter as Mr and Mrs Wurgler.

MontvilleKristin & Patrick – A foggy Montville led to this moody romanic wedding film

Spicers Clovelly Estate offers French-inspired luxury with its wonderfully charming and relaxed atmosphere on a gentle rise in the tranquil Sunshine Coast Hinterland hills. I love how it feels so accessible when you visit Montville- an escape from everyday life but only moments away thanks to scenic views like sparkling water against lush landscapes or romantic candlelit dinners shared by two lovers—just what we all strive for every once upon.

On this day, Spicers Cloverly Estate Montville was wet, very wet.

Some brides may have thought this would be a disaster, but Kristin had faith in all of us that if experts checked BOM every 5 minutes, it would stop for the ceremony. Twenty minutes before it was supposed to start, the rain cleared, and a flurry of staff managed to slot in the ceremony on the lawn.

BrisbaneBel & Allan – Just one big party with a fun wedding atmosphere

I met the Belinda & Allan at another wedding that I filmed, and they were a guest that night. We had such an amazing time! They booked me without even seeing any of my work which was really sweet of them to trust their judgement on what we could get into together for this one day – no fuss or frills just pure love from start to finish with some great speeches thrown in too, I had a brief for the films so after talking to my clients about what they wanted, everything kind of fitted into place resulting in an elegant and modern design. Love working with Moda Events Portside because it’s such great location overlooking River access makes for some fantastic videos – you can’t beat capturing those natural moments on film! Working alongside other vendors before really made this job easy

Kooroomba has been created as a unique wedding destination, nestled in the Fassifern Valley at Mt Alford near Boonah about 60 minutes from Brisbane and 1hr 30 minutes away on foot or by car depending upon how long you want to spend there. The property consists of cellar door which overlooks six hectares vineyard where vines have grown for close-to 10 years now with magnificent views overlooking Scenic Rim mountains.

The most photogenic event of the year, Kooroomba Vineyards and Lavender Farm weddings, are a videographers dream. The breathtaking views can’t be beaten! From your wedding party to sit in the chapel in front of a stunning backdrop is sensational. The Lavender Farm is perfect for any video style- from classic backgrounds with soft colours or artsy film full-on bokeh focus points everywhere: there will always Be something beautiful waiting just around every corner at this venue.

Alix and Chris were a perfect match for me to film here, willing to try anything. To convey the emotion and meaning of the day was tremendous. I think I have captured this perfectly in their film.
